Introduction
Welcome to the West Dunbartonshire Council Information Service. This website gives you access to all of the minutes of Council and Committee meetings from 1996 to the present, all agendas from May 2003 onwards and all reports from March 2006 onwards.
What does CMIS allow you to do?
- You can use the search tool to find specific decisions or go directly to the minutes or agenda that you want to view.
- You can print the document providing you have suitable software and a printer connected to your PC.
How to Use the Information Service - If you are looking for a specific decision of Council but do not know where to look, use the ‘Simple Search Tool’ by clicking on the ‘Search’ button on the top right of this page.
- If your search terms produce a large number of results, you can try the advanced search tool (click the button on the right side of the page). This will enable you to reduce the scope of the search by using specific search information such as a period of time or the name of a committee.
- Another way to reduce the number of results is to use an unusual word which might appear in the text of the decision you are interested in.
- For information on all of the West Dunbartonshire Councillors click on the ‘Committees’ button on the left of this page. If you click on ‘Council’ you will get full list of Councillors, from which you can select the name of the individual that you are interested in.
- Alternatively, enter the Councillor’s name into the simple search tool and search under ‘Members’ (click the box below search term to change the type of search).
